Hikaru no Go,” the hit work by Yumi Hota and Takeshi Obata that introduced the world to the fun of Go, will be adapted for the stage! Hikaru no Go” will be performed at the Sunshine Theater from July 5 (Fri.) to July 14 (Sun.), 2024.

The production will be directed and written by the director and playwright of the musical “Black Butler,” the stage play “Durarara! and the stage “Fruits Basket,” as well as the Masked Rider series. The choreography and staging is by Shinnosuke Motoyama, who has worked on the musical “Black Butler,” the musical “Sword Dance,” and the musical “The Prince of Tennis. Music is by Shinnosuke Motoyama, who has performed in the Hyper Projection Theater “HIQ! series, Tokyo One Piece Tower, “Bakuman. THE STAGE, and many other projects. The art direction is by Mitsuhiro Akiyama, who has worked on stage art for numerous hit productions, including the stage productions of “Sword Dance” and “Weakmushi Pedal.
